Life’s paradox of duality reveals how two things can be true at once. Joy is reflected by pain and the world is simultaneously experiencing both. We are living in heaven and hell.
I visually document the changing natural world and its artists. Musicians, athletes, and experts who dedicate their entire beings to their craft captivate me, as do the painful current events we face. I breathe as both a fine art photographer and a photojournalist, navigating the space between what is real in the world and what is real in my mind.
We live in a world of ultimate destruction and optimum creation and I am fascinated by what people idolize, what they want to avoid looking at and what humans are capable of producing.
Each slice of life is part of the same whole. Each of us aid our common cause as best we can. I engage with the arts as a vehicle for building a diverse understanding of a shared experience.
This portfolio is a collection of photographs and films curated through commissions and collaborations beginning Fall 2014.
Please enjoy and reach out if you’re called to say hello.

A Legendary Encounter: Stan Lee Visits Bovard Auditorium at the University of Southern California September 23, 2014.
Legendary comic book creator Stan Lee, known for co-creating iconic superheroes such as Spider-Man, Iron Man, and the X-Men, made a visit to the University of Southern California's (USC) Bovard Auditorium. I had the extraordinary privilege of capturing an exclusive portrait of this true legend.
The event was organized by the USC School of Cinematic Arts, which invited Stan Lee to share his insights and wisdom with the next generation of storytellers in the entertainment industry.
Stan Lee's visit to USC was not simply an event; it was a moment that captured the essence of his lifelong mission. He reminded aspiring filmmakers and storytellers that the power of imagination is limitless and that storytelling can change the world. His words echoed through the auditorium, leaving a lasting impact on the audience fortunate enough to be in his presence.
As I reflect on the photograph I took of Stan Lee at Bovard Auditorium, I am reminded of the incredible impact he has made on countless lives. Through his imagination, determination, and indomitable spirit.
